Mediation meetings started at regional level

Kherson and Mykolayiv regions were the first who started the round table negotiation process. Meeting purpose is ensuring continuity of target groups customer service during new financing models introducing.

Regional NGOs are involved in providing services process by the Global Fund, Strategic Group members of the transition plan implementation, observers from the CO “100 PERCENTS LIFE” and IICF “Alliance for Public Health”, professional mediation from  СO “Peace and Accord Institute”.

During the meetings, participants had the opportunity to share their motivation, to hear other participants, to discuss their work values and clients approaches. It was gained constructive solutions that better consult regional clients interests and organizations.

The dialogue process was not easy, but the organizations were able to reach agreement in join forces for the sake of those for whom they work. Organizations have demonstrated maturity and balanced decision-making, a willingness to yield to their ambitions for the sake of helping people.

“Participation of a neutral mediator in the process of dialogue creates conditions for open, effective communication aimed at the result and contributes to building participants confidence in each other and the process as a whole,” says Alena Gorovaya, NGO”Peace and Harmony Institute” member.

Thanks to the willingness of Kherson and Mykolaiv regions organizations to constructively work, customers will receive high-quality services in full and will not feel the difficulties of transition from one model of financing to another.

The following areas are Odessa, Rivne, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporozhye and Kharkiv.

The mediation meetings are supported by the International Renaissance Foundation and the NGO”100 Percentage of Life”.
